Movie screenings

WIN hosts screenings of documentaries and films that address gender issues. These events are meant to educate interested students on various gender issues, and to generate dialogue. Some films include: MISSrepresentation, Half the Sky, Tough guise.

Women’s Cultural Nights

WIN’s cultural nights provide students with an opportunity to celebrate the traditions of women all over the world. Students are invited to attend simply to participate in some fun cultural events, or to attend for the purpose of sharing a tradition/practice/activity that is important to them as women.

VDAY Eco-menstruation Workshop

This workshop consists of a discussion followed by making homemade alternative menstrual products. We will discuss the female spirit, and how conventional menstrual products harm our environment, our personal health, and what we can do about it.

VDAY Chest Casting

WIN hosts art nights to give students an opportunity to express themselves. Whether they are expressing their sexuality, their political opinions, or using art to see their body in a new light, these events give students a means of expression, and an opportunity to bond with like-minded people.
